Are you old enough to remember the halcyon days of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal... the late ‘70s through early ‘90s, when iconic guitar heroes and wild-maned lead singers reigned supreme in the world of rock and roll? The drums were big, the bass bombastic, and the combination of power and melody became the soundtrack for an entire generation of teens and young adults.
With the ‘90s came the grunge, funk and hip-hop crossbreeding which diluted the power and purity of the music. It also homogenized the formula with digital recording and technological “advancements†designed to allow amateurs to masquerade as professionals and individuals to masquerade as full-fledged bands.
BONEDADDY lays waste to the notion that rock is dead, resurrecting the form in a manner both powerful and real. Combining the traditional ‘power trio’ format of Led Zeppelin and Rush with the leather-lunged melodies of Judas Priest and Queensrÿche, BONEDADDY is the ultimate rock and roll flashback.
Bringing a compact yet professionally equipped stage show, BONEDADDY fills a room with a sound and presense so large as to magically transport the audience to their own sonic past... loud music for a loud generation. Early evening sets are usually peppered with hard rock staples from Alice Cooper to Led Zeppelin, while late nighters and last callers can bang their heads to the likes of Iron Maiden and Motörhead. Intermittent nods to early MTV darlings Def Leppard and Poison combine with down-tuned favorites from Alice In Chains and Metallica, providing the perfect balance of tuneful tenacity and sweat-soaked machismo which made this era in rock like no other.
We invite you to experience the Rock and Roll Resurrection which is BONEDADDY . Rock is not dead... rock lives!
