HERE's where we go crazy: Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series, Tolkein, Robert Jordan, Isabel Allende, John Irving, Margaret Atwood, Mary Doria Russell, Octavia Butler, Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, Guy Gavriel Kay, Tad Williams, Neil Gaiman, Terry Alexander, William Gibson, and the Harry Potter series (although I'm running out of patience. Same for you, Robert Jordan!)
