Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, film stars through the 50's, I like learning about people in general (their stories), anything 80's, diet and health, fitness, word games, Second Life, monkeys, nature, gardening, Greece
When I first started this I had no idea that I would get back in touch with so many friends that I'd lost contact with! MySpace rocks!
The Eagles, INXS, Will Smith, Billy Joel, almost anything '80's, some country, a small bit of R&B and Hip Hop, Top 40, Indie
Mary Poppins is my all-time favorite movie. Other than that, I generally like biographical or memoir movies, like Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt (one of my favorite authors). I'm not so into horror movies, anymore. I'm starting to like romantic comedies, like Sweet Home Alabama. My most recent favorite is The Lake House. I also like documentaries, especially travel docs. Someday I'll actually go to all of these places that I learn about!
I prefer to not spend alot of time watching TV. But sometimes it's just relaxing. I love all of the CSI's and NCIS. I also like Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural, Smallville, and I LOVE Bones and House.
I like to read biographies, mostly of old film stars, or sometimes just of people I find curious or interesting. The last few books I've read are about Michael Hutchence of INXS, Jean Harlowe, Mel Gibson and Alan Alda. I recently read Frank McCourt's 3rd book, Teacher Man. I love his books. I actually read an Anne Rice book, recently ~ Christ the Lord:Out of Egypt. It's really good! Right now I'm reading Home by Julie Andrews.
I am my own hero, because if I can't fulfill my dreams who am I to expect someone else to?
