Music, Photos, Fashion and the Body, Sociology, Cultural Studies, Psychology, Old films, the seaside, mermaids, handbags. I can't remember what else but there must be other stuff too.
Anything really goes. I love p j harvey, the lemonheads, the chillis, the smashing pumpkins, the pixies, blondie, belly, crooners though I can't tell them all apart, primal scream, beck, the darling buds, tanya donnelly, throwing muses, the breeders, jeff buckley, nick drake, the stone roses, ian brown,
old films and some new ones. Musicals, especially high society, grease, oklahoma, most films with johnny depp in especially edward scissorhands and what's eating gilbert grape, brief encounter, audrey hepburn films especially roman holiday and breakfast at tiffanys
sex and the city, desperate housewives, bad girls, emmerdale, lost but I always fall asleep when it's on, wife swap, ANTM, my so called life (damn those dvd pirates), and I can sit and watch music channels for hours even though we only have the crap ones on our package
I mainly like biographies. And 20th century books, F scott fitzgerald, truman capote, j d sallinger, sylvia plath, evelyn waugh, nancy mitmord, edith wharton (maybe 19th century for her). Some older classics too - I like wuthering heights, anna karenina, vanity fair, madame bovary, jane eyre... I have started reading dr zhivago laods of times, and I always get about half way through then forget about it. I don't think I have ever made it through a jane austen either. I don't like reading charles dickens books though, they are the wrong kind of gloomy for me.
