ABOUT ME!
Hey, I'm Matt Wright, hailing from Tonbridge, Kent, England.
My first album, 'Six Scars Later', was released on Monday 12th March, on my small, independent label 'Not Your Fault Records'.
In August 2007, I finished recording my second album ('Darker Than Light') with singer and bassist from Son Of Dork, Steve Rushton, as producer. This album not only features Steve on guitars, but Louis Davis from Outrage on drums.
Both albums are very personal affairs, chronicling a great portion of my teenage years; the emotions I've felt, the times I've been through and thus it gives an insight into me and my life. It is something that many others say they can relate to all aspects of their lives too.
On Saturday 24th March 2007, I was lucky enough to support Son Of Dork at Shepherd's Bush Empire! Since then I was asked to headline a festival at Ministry Of Sound on Monday 20th August 2007! I have also played at The Purple Turtle in Camden as well as countless other smaller venues.
