About Me

Busted changed the face of pop in British music.
They hit the scene in September 2002 with first single, "What I Go To School For’ hit the #3 spot which excelled them into pop stardom. With cheeky lyrics, typical pop melodies and a mixture of vocals, Busted's music is very different to anything out there. What I Go To School For was followed up by the next six singles: Year 3000 (#2), You Said No (#1), Sleeping With The Light On (#3), Crashed The Wedding (#1), Who's David (#1), Air Hostess (#2) and Thunderbirds are go/3am (#1)
Busted made chart history in 2003 and gained a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records - the first UK act ever to have their first three singles enter the chart consecutively at numbers 3, then 2 then 1 and then for selling out Wembley Arena 6 nights in a row. Both Busted's albums, the self-titled "Busted" (2002) and the follow-up "A Present For Everyone" (2003) have hit the album charts at #2 and stayed in the Top 40 for a substantial amount of time.
With 3 sell out tours in May 2003, Spring 2004 (ticket for everyone tour) and Autumn 2004 (ticket for everyone else tour) Busted have proved that they are musicians in their own right by writing and playing their own music. They are one of the defining acts of the past five years; treating pop audiences with the respect they deserve, selling their music without selling out their musical beliefs. Busted are the alternative.
