Music has been my main focus throughout my entire life. From banging on pots and pans to creating hip hop symphonies with professional audio equipment. My father was a singer/lead guitar so there was music all around me at an early age. Falling asleep to the sounds of drunken rock n roll performances in my living room, I aquired an ear for music. From then, I started writing a lot of poems which in time turned into lyrics to songs. I began making tapes at a very young age. My production consisted of me rhyming between a speaker blaring my favorite instrumentals, and a cheap boom box tape recorder! I learned to work with what I had and that taught me alotof tricks throughout the years. My interest in music quickly turned into a love- moved onto a hobby- and is now developing into a career-- My life long dream. Although I have a common love for all music in it's entirety; my main passion for music lies within Hip Hop. I connected with Hip Hop at a very early age. I found the expression of Hip Hop music very unique and different from what I was used to hearing all of the time. That is what I think drove me to Hip Hop music. I myself was an outcast to the "in" crowd and felt very unique and different compared to everyone else in school. I felt the need to rebel against them, therefore Hip Hop suited me perfectly. The fact that I was white and living in the suburbs did not appeal to the majority of white kids in town. I was mostly looked apon as a fake; a wannabe. But that wasn't the case in my eyes. My love for this music was indeed very real to me. I began recording people who rapped in my hometown (including myself) all through high school. Passing out tapes to anyone interested or not interested. I didn't care, I just wanted my name to get out regardless if they liked it or not. That brought me to perform my first show, at my high school dance. People started realizing I was not fucking around with this shit. I'm really practicing and getting good. I started getting respect from the same people who looked down apon me my whole life. After high school I attended New England Institute of Art and Communications and started recording CDs to hand out opposed to tapes. Using Hip Hop as the base of every project I could, I graduated and recieved my degree. I then started performing at open mic nights on a weekly basis. More and more people started really listening to me, including numerous local artists who I started collaborating with and producing beats for. That brought me to release my first official compilation CD "Street Credit" all produced and recorded my myself in my small bedroom studio I've been building. What I mean about "official" is that I actually spent a good amount of money getting the CD mastered and duplicated with proffessional printing. Opposed to me duplicating the CDs myself and pronting the cd covers with my computer printer. I then started doing more shows around the south shore and Boston. I jumped on everyb mixtape I could, beatwise or lyrically. I peaked my head in every local studio I could, playing my beats and showing my rhymes to other artists. That was the beginning of 2005.By 2006; with my extensive team of artists, I finished my newest compilation cd "Weapons Of Mass. Destruction" in which I produced all the beats but one, recorded and mixed more than half and did all the artwork. - I joined the hip hop group "Heddshotts" in 2007. The Heddshotts 1st project "Nuts On The Table" is available now. Keep posted with our shows we play out alot. I am working the same grind as always; networking with anyone I can feel and that is real about this music-- this movement.DO YOU NEED BEATS? If So--- Hit Me Up I Charge Next To Nothing For Quality, Original Beats. I guarantee the most bang for your buck. I'm really just looking to get my name out as a producer, But I Gotta Eat Too!! I have all types of styles. Just make sure to tell em that MelloDeezy produced that shit. PEACE
