Let's see.... 36 yrs old, divorced mother of two amazing kids - Samantha, 14 (going on what, I'm not sure), and Jordan, 5 (the man in charge). I'm an extremely affectionate & passionate person, very caring & giving. I always try to see the best in everyone & make the best of every situation. I always try to look at my glass as WAY more than half full... life is what you make it - if you're not happy with the situation you're in, you should do whatever you can to change it. Love to do just about anything, I can have fun almost anywhere as long as I enjoy the company of the people I'm with. Love the outdoors, camping, hiking, cookouts, bike rides & trips to the zoo with the kids... whatever adventure they might dream up. Love to cook, especially if I have someone special to cook for. I enjoy gardening, landscaping, working out, music, movies, books... you name it. Photography is a fairly new hobby - the pictures below are mine, most taken on my family's property... and I took most of the pics of me that are posted here.On my own for over 2.5 years now & looking to make new friends (one can NEVER have too many), have new experiences, and get back to truly living & enjoying life again. Music:

WOW - This is a tough one... impossible to narrow it down, or fit it in this space. I love nearly all types of music, it just depends on my mood - my parents raised me very open minded in this area & exposed me to a lot of different things... I was raised on Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, and so many more. I like everything from classical to jazz & blues, some top 40 & dance (my daughter's influence) ROCK - classic, new, alternative, & metal (my tastes tend to run a bit heavy at times)... a teensy of country, but I'm very picky. I've been to concerts ranging from symphonies in the park, to Willie Nelson (with my dad), Fleetwood Mac, Nine Inch Nails, White Zombie, Korn, Slipknot, Ozzfest... the list goes on. A few things in my current listening selection (changes constantly): Joss Stone, Dave Matthews, Norah Jones, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Jack Johnson, ColdPlay, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Cassandra Wilson, Lenny Kravitz.... Tool, A Perfect Circle, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Incubus, Janes Addiction, Alice In Chains, Staind, System of A Down, Flyleaf, Audioslave, Type O Negative, THree Days Grace, Disturbed, Static X, Shattermask, Sevendust, Shinedown..... you get the idea

Movies:

Wide range of tastes here as well.... Horror would have to be all time fav... love Sci-Fi, Thrillers, Action, Comedy.... and even a few Chick-Flicks here & there, but it better have a damn good plot, or forget it.

Television:

Don't watch much network television & definitely not a big fan of reality tv, but I like CSI, Lost, Heroes, Bones, Law & Order... I watch a lot of different shows on Discovery, TLC, Sci-Fi, and the movie channels... and of course Sponge Bob with Jordan. Kind of like the music subject - depends on my mood.

Books:

All over the board here too, but Horror is definitely my favorite (sensing a pattern?)... Dean Koontz, Steven King, Clive Barker, Anne Rice... just to name a few.

Heroes:

My Mother and both of my Grandmothers.... get to know me & I'll tell you why...
