Indigenous Men & Women Wear Beautiful Jewelry!

 Hand Made Jewelry, by Nauhxa
Through work with Cultura & Calpulli Tonalehqueh I focus on helping my community. We are part of the Mexicayotl, or hermandad Mexicana. Practicing and living our traditional ways from Mexico. Through the education and preservation of not only things like Danza & Music, but also, artistry, history, philosophy, spirituality, language, Medicine and Ceremony. Together working as a collective, not only are we able to enlighten our spirits, we are able to help & teach the community, providing regular work shops, exhibitions, Community Events and public school courses. Music is a powerful tool. It can create moods, help us tap into places never before felt and even cause whole revolutions. I give props to all those warriors out there using this tool for the growth of our people. I love to sing & make music of my own, alone in front of my altar, in the car or impromptus with my little niece. I also form part of a musical duo called Yei Tecpatl. Two Mexica women with our voice & our hand drums. Click on our picture to take a listen. Medicine for the Soul!
