While most rappers continue to fall into the trap of "Ringtone rap", Rumorz is one of the few artists who continue to make real music in the hip-hop community. From song topics such as Reality TV shows, board games, and even comparing Rappers to Politicians, Rumorz has been successfully defending the art of Hip Hop/Rap by continuing to create innovative tracks. The rapper born Greg Perry has continued to impress with his witty lyricism which overshadow many in the industry to date, yet his big break is yet to come. While he nearly landed a huge deal with ComcastSportsNet and the Boston Celtics in late 2007, that deal was killed after continuous contract talks, and Rumorz was back to the drawing boards. Never phased, Rumorz has continued to record and work on the original music which has brought him recognition.By the beginning of early 2008 Rumorz had already been strongly recommended by Hip Hop experts including D. Scribez of Boston Hip Hop Pages and 730 of Hiphopgame.com, along with features on popular websites such as TastefulCelebs.com and Hotnewhiphop.com.
