DJ TUTU

Roger TUTUSAUS (1980) aka djTUTUSAUS comes from a little village in Spain called Torregrossa. His first contact with electronic music was in the Sonar Festival in Barcelona on 1997, where he had the chance to see Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Ritchie Hawtin, Coldcut and many more for the first time in his life. He has not missed one Sonar Festival since! It was not until 2003 when he decided to step into the mixing experience after hearing “Immer” from Michael Mayer. Roger got carried away by the German Techno scene, “I used to buy all the Kompakt, Traum, B-pitch Control, Get Physical, etc… releases”. He got so deeply into it, that in 2004 he decided to undertake a ND in Music Technology in Northbrook College and he is currently on the second year of a Music Production HND in the same College. Even thought he loves the German stuff he also likes to play Ambient, Techno Minimal, Deep House, Electro House, Progressive House and Electronica. Roger’s future aim is to produce his own tracks and incorporate them into his mixings using a “live” set. He has been mixing mostly in Spain, all around the Catalonia region, “Mas de nit” nightclub (Girona), “l’Ornitorrinc” pub, “Metro Shop”, “Tres Amfores” in Lleida.
