Eric

It's a beautiful country, a man could get lost out here.

About Me

My name is Eric, but most call me Aidan, a stage name that became a nickname over the past years. My adopted hometown is Glenorchy, New Zealand. I was born & raised in the bayous of Southeast Texas, lived in Los Angeles for many years, and recently made the move out to Southern Nevada. A Scorpio born on the 12th of November, half Irish, half Dutch. I originally moved out to L.A. to pursue a career in film. I work with domestic and wild horses, and have been doing so here in the Southern California and Nevada mountains for quite some time. My primary focus is with the National Wild Horse Association and Shiloh Horse Rescue. In addition to wrangling, I also do stunt riding for film and television when the opportunity arises. Every moment I get, I spend with my Mustang, Augustus. He is a beautiful gelding from the range somewhere near Tonopah, NV. An ideal night for me would be to retreat to a little known pub or seedy dive bar and kick back with friends. Conversation is a must. To travel is another passion of mine. Some days I wake up and wonder why I never ventured into the world of photography, working for National Geographic or the like, capturing exotic lands and cultures, living that daily adventure. I have covered alot of ground, even lived out of country for a while, but there is so much out there that I have yet to see and am itching to do so. I'm in love, and have been for three years now. I don't need much in life, just give me a place up in the mountains, horses, and my special someone to share it with, and I will be content for the rest of my life. I love Maker's Mark (I'm an Ambassador). I love New Zealand. Boston. New Orleans. San Francisco. Austin. The American West. The Ocean. The Mountains.
"Immense herds of wild horses... Next to God, we owed our victory to the horses, in those times when, as saying went, a man was no better than his horse and a man on foot was no man at all"! 1829, Stephen F. Austin
