Join the Blue Ridge Rollergirls at Masquerade Brawl, their next bout, on Friday, October 26th. The league's two teams, the Wham Bam Thank You Ma'ams & the Candy Apple Razorblades, will go toestop to toestop again. Can the Wham Bams pull off another victory? Or will the Razorblades exact sweet revenge? Gates will open at Carrier Park on Amboy Road in West Asheville at 6 p.m., and the bout will start at 7 p.m. More details to come on intermission entertainment. An after-party will follow at Burgermeister on Haywood Road.
Volunteers
If you're interested in seeing roller derby in Asheville, NC, we want to meet YOU! This new upstart league needs skaters, coaches, refs, sponsors, announcers, bands, venues, artists, volunteers, donations, EMTs, statisticians...and especially FANS!!! We are looking for anyone interested in helping bring derby to Asheville!
Kick-ass girls on roller skates
Skaters must be 21 years of age or older, attend practices and other league events, provide their own gear (quad skates, helmet, knee and elbow pads, wrist and mouth guards), and be committed to derby!
