Cree en 2003, Straight In Tha Veins a choisit la voie de la fusion: melodies et rythmiques simples et efficaces sont les mots d'ordre qui conduisent leurs compositions. Le style musical? Un tronc commun base sur la puissance du metal sur lequel viennent se greffer les touches de chacun ( Hardcore, Hip-Hop, Brit-Pop, Funk...), electrise par les voix differentes de chacun des deux chanteurs scandant des textes engages. En effet, une des particularites de SITV est d'allier un chant masculin a un chant feminin sans pour autant reprendre le principe d'un chant lyrique associe a du metal. Fin 2006, Guillaume choisit de s'impliquer pleinement avec son autre groupe, Naquada. C'est Mascar (ex-Paku Puawaï) qui le remplace derrière les futs. Leur premier album est disponible et commandable ici et un nouvel EP va voir le jour début 2009, montrant la nouvelle direction du groupe, mais c'est definitivement sur scene que leur puissance se degage.

Formed in 2003, Straight In Tha Veins has choosen the way of fusion : theirs compositions are guided by simple and effective tunes and rhythms. What do Straight In Tha Veins sounds like? Imagine a core based on the power of metal, to which you add the various influences of each one ( Hardcore, Hip-Hop, Brit-Pop, Funk...) ,and add two voices singing committed lyrics. One of the peculiar things of SITV is to mix a women's singing to a man's one, without repeating the mix of an opera's voice associated with metal. Late 2006, Guillaume choose to involve himself in his second band, Naquada. Mascar (ex-Paku Puawaï) is succeeding to him. Their first album is available and you can buy it here and a new EP will be available in the early 2009, showing their new musical direction, but it's clearly on live performances that the band is giving off its power.
