Kenyatta Fiya was born in a remote section of Bedward Gardens- Jamaica popularly known as Dread Heights, a community gathered by members of the Orthodox 12 Tribes of Israel and surrounded by August Town and Kintire. Fiya was brought up by his father who groomed him into a humble and religious Rastafarian who is aggressive against human suffering and un-godly acts. Throughout his childhood, he hid a talent that was said to be mystical in the eyes of his fellow Rastafarian brethrens. In spring 2005 he unleashed the mystical sound which came forth his demo that hit both foreign and Jamaican streets with a vigorous nudge with versatile tracks such as Natural High and She Say. As the newest artiste on the block, he gained respect from both young and old very quickly teaching the yutes about spiritual stabilization and guiding the women towards the promise land- Africa. Now its 2006 and Fiya gives us a taste of reggae at its finest with his latest track Carry On which is a favorite amongst all who have witnessed it.
