Nyke Born Jose Baez, was born in Manhattan NY, his father locked up doing six years on drug charges, but within months moved to The Bronx NY. There he was raised in on Creston one of the most violent and drug infested streets. At age 6 with his friends he made his first song while watching some cartoons. He didnt make another song until age 10 but kept writting songs from then on after his favorite artist died. His family was not wealthy and his father a drug dealer was always in and out of jail. All the males in his family were drug dealers selling cocaine throughout the city. One of his uncles who he looked up too and wanted to be just like him was arrested during this time for trafficing 60 kilos. At this time he was devastaded and decided to focus more on his music. He was still in school but dropped out when he was in constant war with some Gang members at age 17. He then realized there was only one way off the streets for him and only one thing he can focus on which can keep him out of trouble. And here he is now....
