One, if not the main ingredients to the success of all artists like GM Music's own Nitro & Fanta and others are the contagious beats like the ones created by one talented man, RomY. RomY was born in New York but traveled extensively to his parent's native Dominican Republic, where many were captivated by a new rhytmic sound of hip-hop and reggae beats, that we now know as reggaeton. This new electric and lively sound inspired RomY and his cousins, Wilmer and Xavier to experiment and eventually they developed a sound of their own. As time progressed, Wilmer and Xavier moved from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico where they were later discovered and are now known as "The Mambo KingZ." RomY on the other hand was very young so on the advice of his parents he traveled back to New York to attend highschool. Never losing sight of his passion to create music RomY met the widely known DJ Al Money, manager of GM Music and formed an alliance with Nitro y Fanta, Oriel, Jay Ruez and several other artists signed to GM Music. Since then RomY has continued to work with the GM Music Family and has also ventured to create blazin' beats alongside his successful cousins, "The Mambo KingZ" for an endless array of artists.
This new talent, has only just begun and is sure to make a name for himself in the years to come!
