Einherjer Rising (Previously PHEX)

A one-man project by "Phexataan" the bassist/vocalist of "Tyrant Throne" the crushing Technical Brutal Death Metal outfit and the bassist of Jordanian local legends "Augury". The band was known as "Phex" (2001-2007), but the name was changed to "Einherjer Rising" in late 2007.

2007: (Late) Project name changed from "Phex" to "Einherjer Rising"
Einherjer Rising has been always a multiple styled project; in the Phex period, the project's sound shifted from Electronic Music (in "Experiments 00-01" demo) to an unclassified weird sound that had influences from all types of Extreme Metal with some Ambient touches and an overall sound closest to groove Death Metal in ("The Black Vision" and "Spirits and Devils" demos and "Transfixion", the album that the "Phex" era ended with). The 2nd full-length album will be more solid and will focus mainly on the Black Metal genre but it will be very experimental, including Death Metal, Folk, Ambient and complex Progressive touches. This album will witness the beginning of the "Einherjer Rising" era. The main reason for changing the name is that the new sound doesn't fit with the old name at all, so a stronger and more representative name was chosen; EINHERJER RISING...
