Growing up in Atlanta, he found his calling at a young age that GOD had fulfilled his prophecy through Xavier with the gift of song. With a commanding stage presence to accompany his vocal prowess, participating in countless local and regional talent showcases that have further propelled Xavier's helm towards his musical destiny. He has recorded and toured as a background vocalist for gospel artist Debra Bonner: sharing the stage with Tank, Lil' Zane, John P. Kee, Ray J, Albertina Walker, Vickie Winans, Dottie Peoples and more. An Alumni of North Atlanta School of the Arts, he performed in such musicals as Once On This Island, The Preachers Wife & Working. He was also a member of the International Touring Choir gracing the world renowned stages of New York City's Carnegie Hall and St. John the Divine.Currently showcasing his vocal bravado on stage with a soulful must see live performance in Towonda Kilpatrick's stage play "Mama I'm Your Child". Xavier croons with intensity and draws you into the story as he becomes Mecca Johnson.
