Hmmm. Music. Film. Linguistics. Philosophy. My Bed - Never ever enough zzzzzzzzz's Environment. Animal Rights. Extra Terrestrial Life. Death. The End.
No thanks I like to Veggie :) I love the cows and piggies. Check out the vid - We're a nasty bunch - Our track record is pretty bad by any standards. Our entire history is 90% violence end of story. Even most of our best technological achievements are mostly spawned from war mongering nations trying to get one up on 'the enemy'. Very embarrasing in front of other Extra Terrestrial beings at this stage. Would you be shouting it out 'I'm human and proud' at an interstellar conference? Doubt it. Live in hope I suppose. Trying to put into words how much I hate the meat industry would be futile - there aren't enough powerful words that can meaningfully encapsulate how much I despise it. 2007 and we're still stuffing other living creatures with drugs and hormones so they'll look better in a bun after being electrocuted and having their head's hacked off - Progress! Other than all this I'm actually pretty laid back and love laughing my ass off at the unfathomable ridiculousness of it all :")

Recently finished 'Why aren't they here?' by Surendra Verma - I was pretty disappointed and found it very 'listy' a bit of a slog actually and I'll read sci-fi & alien stuff all day. Reading Neuromancer by William Gibson at the mo and I'm still trying to figure out how I've only gotten around to it now. For shame. 'I was Bono's Doppelganger' - picked it up second hand not really knowing what to expect - Very funny account of trying to get famous in Ireland in the 80's against the backdrop of U2 taking over the world - Recommended if you fancy a nice light read after finishing Ulysses or something :) I will definitely exit this world with a load of stuff I really should have read...But stuff I've gotten around to and loved - A Scanner Darkly - The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins - The Pilgrim's Regress - Johnny Cash autobiography - The Famished Road - 1984 - Brave New World - Life of Pi - Dance Dance Dance - Again loads more - Always interested in Apocalypticism and relevant texts from a social and cultural point of view - Unfortunately right now however we get blown up or obliterated - As a collective we fucking deserve it. Seriously.
These are more people I really respect than heroes - I'm not exactly sitting around sighing at the mention of their names :") Eamonn Dunphy - Travis Bickle - All the many many techno/electronic originators and pioneers - AFX -Delia Derbyshire - Kraftwerk etc etc could fill this whole section! -Sepultura mainly up to Roots for being so utterly on the ball and progressive when it came to environmentalism and highlighting the globalisation that was especially affecting the Third World they came from and THEN recording ROOTS! Stuff still worth being well fucking angry about - Respect - Shigero Miyamoto - Johnny Cash - Nelson Mandela - Richard Dawkins - Noam Chomsky - Human and Animal Rights Groups and Anyone Who Sticks Up For Those Without a Voice - Fatboy - the greatest sexiest nastiest put you in your place cat to ever slob around this planet - R.I.P pal. Oh & Roy Keane of course for single handedly redefining the debate and publicly questioning why Irish people are so inherently lacks a daisy, feckless and willing to say 'Ah it'll do'!
