Dodenkrocht.. Raw, Death-like, Tragic Black Metal and Dark Ambient: no fills, no blastbeats, no grooves since the last dark days of 2004
Dodenkrocht is about death, in its most broad meaning. AND since lots of thing become seriously interesting after they die, like this solo black metal project, I made a profile for it. Currently, there is nothing more info on Dodenkrocht than this page. Dodenkrocht appeared once on "Gratis Naar de Tering" - cd Part I. A black and death metal compilation of bands in the Breda area. However, the epicenter of Dodenkrocht moved to a town called Leiden. There, Dodenkrocht created 'Zwijgend Als Het Graf' during the year of 2007.
Dodenkrocht is slow, tragic, atmospheric, death, imperfect, raw, hatefull, dark and above all: the (im)perfect reflection of wandering hatefull spirits, once tricked by a disease called faith.
Dodenkrocht is ..., however Dodenkrocht is dead in all sorts of forms.. It is all about creating the "right" sphere.
Hate it, but you may even understand it because of this, and you feel the pain, horror, and taste the raw sphere of any local (ancient/modern) crypt or tomb, were bodies "rest" and rot, leaving lost souls to be trapped forever.
