I love my islands, my island people...it took leavin and going back to realize I'm proud as hell to be a Caribbean woman. Born and raised....don't get me wrong, I've always represented but never took "where I'm from "seriously". St. Thomas is beautiful....whoooo the beaches....I feel renewed and rejuvenated from that last trip home. It's "pepped up" my swagger and reawakened my grind....LOOK island people, we need to stop de bs and take a look around...especially those abroad. We have beautiful, sexy people.....ah accent that send people wild, food that makes the mouth water, and islands so beautiful mek others ask why in the FUCK did we leave cause that's where they're trying to go. Act like ah islander....be yourselves...yes adapt to your environment but never, ever forget where de rass yuh come from....I haven't.
