Fealofani O Samoa is a Registered Independent Organization (RIO) under the University of Hawai'i-Manoa since the year 1976, whose purpose is to promote the Samoan culture within the university and also with surrounding communities, and to provide valuable volunteer service to needy organizations. FOS is a culmination of Samoans from all over: Samoa and Amerika Samoa, Hawai'i, and the mainland US; not to mention those who are Samoan at heart, a group of non-samoans who show a genuine interest in the culture. Past functions include various club outings, performances on campus and at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and Youth fellowships and Lotu Tamaiti at Kanana Fou.
