MystiK began in the early 90's , when Trisha D and Mike Leavitt formed the acoustic duo, Cosmogony. Cosmogony played throughout the local coffee house scene and recorded one independent cd, Cosmogony. In 2002 the duo again came together to form what was originally a simple recording project. Soon it was apparent that what was started was a bit more complicated. Along with original MystiK members Dale Vogt and Scott Wheeler, MystiK began to spread their musical vision with "This Is Only A Test" a 4 song EP.
Since then there have been some member changes and the addition of many new tunes. MystiK has performed some of the best venues in Michigan including St. Andrew's Hall, Clutch Cargos, The Majestic Theater, and the Emerald Theater. Along with performances at many bars, clubs and events around Michigan and Ohio. We have also recieved airplay and support from Local Detroit radio stations WRIF and 89X.
