About Me

Well, for starters, I'm 19...going to be 20 in January. I live in Michigan...Taylor, about a half hour outside of Detroit. No, that doesn't mean that I live in the slums, or that there are gun men around every corner...people need to get that image of Detroit out of their minds, because no city in this country is 100% crime free...look at Washington D.C.
I'm a democrat...I'm STRONGLY against this waste of time, money and human lives that we call a "War".
I wish I was born in the '70s. The music was just sooo much better than the shit that they're trying to pull off as music...that's laughable. Nobody even plays their own stuff anymore.
STYX is my favorite band...ok, now that your eyes are back to center after the rolling you just did...they are so much more than 'Mr. Roboto'...I know it's hard to have an open mind because your brains will fall out, but take the risk.
Tommy Shaw (guitarist, vocalist, writer, & resident hottie) of STYX is my hero, idol & inspiration. I'd be dead without him and his music...literally. And no, I didn't hold a cd case to my chest while someone was trying to shoot me...but in a non tangible way.
Alice Cooper, Stevie Nicks REO Speedwagon & Def Leppard are among my other favorites. All of which are big influences to me today as I try to pursue my own music 'career'. I'm in a band called "Ekhos of Sylence" lead by my best friend, Grace and amazing kick ass drummer, Dale. We kind of rock...I'm the lead guitarist. We're mostly female, but we have bigger balls than most men. We're trying to bring the classic rock back today.
Well, I mentioned Gracie up there...she's my girl. Not in a lesbian way...that's only on Fridays... ;). We're there for each other unconditionally and we finish each other's phrases in songwriting. Most of the songs we write together are our biggest 'hits' per say. We get each other and I couldn't ask for a better best friend.
My other best friend is my cousin, Sandy. We've both helped each other out a lot recently. We share a bond that's stronger than family and that's our love for music. We're both huge Stevie Nicks fans, and we're always at a concert together anymore! I love you, cuz! Forever and ever...amen...shit, I just quoted a "cunt"ry song.
Dane Cook is my favorite comedian. I love this guy! He's so talented, and funny. Amazing actor and singer as well. He's a triple threat...watch out!
