I have been very happily married for 15 years. I have a 13 yr. old daughter, a 7 yr. old son and a German shepherd who follows me everywhere. I was an x-ray tech for 15 years doing diagnostic x-rays, mammos, cardiac cath, specials, bone densities and lab work. Two years ago I decided to retire and now I don’t know when I found time to work. We belong to an area corvette club in which I am the event planner. We do activities such as bowling, casino night, Chicago shows and a lot of eating out every month. We also go on long trips. Last year’s trip was to Bowling Green, KY to visit the Corvette museum and plant. We had 12 corvettes and 1 Camry on the trip. We brought our kids, so our corvette stayed home. Good thing because it rained while we were there and my husband seems to think that our corvette might melt if it gets caught in the rain. We have a 2000 convertible with just under 10,000 miles on it. We are also Disney freaks. We go to Disney World as much as possible. Now that the kids our older it is harder for them to miss school, so we go for 3 weeks every summer. Sometimes we can sneak a long weekend in during the year. This year will be my 12 yr. olds 16th time. We always stay on Disney property and have tried almost all of the different resorts and restaurants. I have planned so many people’s Disney vacations that I should start getting paid for it! Another activity that keeps my daughter and I busy is Styx. We are HUGE Tommy Shaw fans and go to as many concerts as possible when they come around here. After the concerts you can find us out by the tour buses waiting to catch a glimpse of Tommy. We have been lucky a few times and met him. He is a genuinely sweet guy!
