I am definitely a "what you see is what you get" type person. I say what's on my mind. I have to say I have some pretty great friends that rock my world!!
I was born and raised in Northern Wisconson....Packer Country!! Of course I'm a Packer fan. Don't you know they tattoo it on your ass when you are born in that state? lol!! Lived in Minnesota for a short time, then spent 7 years in Houston, Texas, then back to Minnesota oh and don't forget a year in Iowa....(that's construction life).
My husband Jeff is an estimator for a construction company. He has a great job and we love it!! They do a lot of work for Disney, Universal and Sea World in FL. Which means we get to travel to FL a lot!! We could move their any time. We enjoy the Christmas party and Company picnic in FL!! The company went joint venture with another company and got the 35W Bridge in Minneapolis. He's now bidding work in the Bahamas....yes, I do like that thought!!
I have two kids. Noah (25) is a nursing student at Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He is going to be a Nurse Practitioner. He plays college soccer so we travel to see as many of his games as possible. In the summer he plays for MN Amateur Soccer league.
Rami (20) is attending Community College this year and working on her generals. Right now she's thinking of being a fitness trainer. Now I don't know about you, but it would be pretty hard to take orders from a 100 pound chick..lol!! She's still playing U19's woman's soccer and enjoys co-ed even more. She's modeling for five modeling agencies in the Minneapolis area so she keeps busy. She just had her 50th Styx Concert in December.
We are definitely "soccer people." Jeff and I play on a "Co-ed old fart" league. Meaning...you gotta be over 40!! We play with a bunch of great friends and enjoy "cocktails" afterwards. I suprised myself last year with my first goal.....woah!!
I love to travel. Mostly to Styx concerts, I've been to over 70 of them now in many different states. I have met some really super great "Styx" friends over the years. We've had some great times and have great stories. Or I like to refer to them as "one of the finer moments in rock'n roll history." I love live music and make it to a lot of concerts throughout the year. Think Todd Sucherman is the best drummer in rock'n roll history.Concerts, Longaberger baskets and scrapbooking are among my "bad" habits. Traveling to FL is a big part of our lives and I with my daughter Rami are Disney, Universal and Sea World freaks. Just soaking up the sun at the beach or by the pool is paradise to me!!
I work as a traffic controller for the School Dist. I have to work in rain, shit or shine!! Get my ass handed to me several times a week by obnoxious drivers. And, my other job is an at home data entry contractor. (Yes, kids in college...two jobs).
