Level 1 Certified Voice Instructor in the Speech Level Singing Technique.. Please read Who I'd Like

About Me

My name is Ron Cross. I live in Red Oak Texas, a small suburb just outside of Dallas. I've been involved in teaching voice in one way or another for over 20 years now.

Most of those years were spent as the voice teacher for my church choir. I've been the person responsible for teaching all of the songs for the main sanctuary choir, including all harmony, arrangements, lyrics, dynamics, etc.
Thanks to God's special gift and annointing I've been able to play a major role in my church choir becoming one of the most well-known and respected Gospel choirs in our area for their dynamic sound and tight harmony.
In 2005 God revealed to me that this is the path I should be seeking to embark upon as a profession. So I began research into training options available. In June of 2005 I became an associate of the Speech Level Singing organization and began training for certification as an instructor of the technique. A year and a half later in December of 2006 I achieved level 1 certification. On August 31st of 2007 I walked away from my day job to become a full time voice instructor (to God be the Glory!). I am now offering private voice lessons in the Dallas Ft.Worth area with a growing list of happy clients, many of whom travel great distances to study with me.
Below are some of the My Space friends I've had the pleasure of working with. All of them are active MySpace members and can be located in my friends list. ..

I'm also very much interested in making and fostering industry connections for the benefit of my students. So if you're someone who is regularly seeking talented, trained vocalists, networking would be mutually beneficial for both of us.
