Wipe The Needle productions brings together the combined talents of producers, London born Lee Gomez and Swedish national Mikael Nybom.
A chance meeting, at a London label may have proved unsuccessful for both guys, but it essentially brought them together, and would see them make house music. The duo is known for never sticking to one style of house music, always alternating between soulful, deep, dark, techy, whatever… As long as it's spelled H-O-U-S-E.
After the first week, 'Moving On' featuring Larrick on vocals was to be the first track produced by the duo, and heralded the start of a wonderful working relationship that would see them embrace the talents of Larrick (vocals) and Papi (vocals), Gaby Jangfeldt (backing vocals, keys, co-production), Simon Wilcox (trumpet), Christer Karlsson (rhodes), Ricardo Lavelle (rhythm guitar), Carlene Graham (vocals), Jason Miller (vocals), Gary Bardouille (vocals), Lingo Scott (vocals), Nick Van Gelder (keys, guitar, percussion), Marque Gilmore (percussion), Foremost Poets (vocals), Sole Intent (vocals) and Misha Sutherland (vocals).
Operating from the confines of the Needle Room in West Ealing, London, the duo divide their time between DJing and coming up with ways to incinerate dancefloors all over as their tenacious sound continues to get play time from respected players in the scene all over the world.
