Floyd Patterson one half of the formidable duo ‘The Euphoric House Collective’ has been playing music since a young age. Floyd started his DJ career playing boogie & soul, natural progression lead him to the acid house music scene and In 1987/8 this saw Floyd start playing some of the largest warehouse parties. Then progressed to playing a more funky & soulful vibe of House and US Garage. Floyd met his partner Randy J at Rhythm FM and in 1991 The Euphoric House Collective’ was formed. The partnership then continued onto Pleasure FM & Déjà vu FM. In 1999 saw the transition to London Underground FM and from 2000 to 2006 The Euphoric House Collective had a weekly show ‘Good Groove Sessions’ every Saturday 6.00pm-8.00pm on House FM. With the growth of the Euphoric House Collective Floyd Patterson moved to Push FM in to host his own weekly version of ‘the good groove sessions’, leaving Randy J to carry on his version of ‘The Good Groove Session’ on House FM. Their sounds of funky, soulful & deep house and US Garage now reach a much larger global audience. Club Portfolio The Collective are responsible for hosting various parties in London including ‘Rejoice’ which is held quarterly and more recently ‘London City Soul’ which is held once a month at The Ditch bar in Shoreditch and is recognised as one of the best monthly parties held in London. Check out the website for his next gig: www.euphorichouse.net The Euphoric House Collective has also played in some of the largest bars and clubs: London – Turnmills, the Egg, Studio 33, Ministry of Sound, Yacht Club, Café De Paris, Koo Club, EC1, hanover grand, h.q, club collisium. GAS club, SW1/now PACHA, Scala, Housology, Gecko bar, Bar 104, The Ditch, The Worship and MEET. The Collective have also played Sheffield, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Liverpool. Trips abroad have seen them play in Cyprus, Germany, France, Spain, Austria and Malta. In March 2006 The Euphoric House Collective provided Spain with one of its best funky, & soulful house clubbing weekends, playing in the biggest clubs in Valencia wowing the Spanish crowds and their loyal followers that flocked from around the world to see them play.
