About Me

Peace. I live in Seattle (although also hail from Vashon Island) spending a good majority of my time fundraising and supporting Urban Debate Leagues in public schools and community centers in the Seattle/Tacoma area. We are gearing up Tacoma right now...stay tuned for a workshop in October and one in November. As the Executive Director of the Seattle Debate Foundation www.seattledebate.org. I raise funds to support educational opportunties for youth which includes providing the necessary supplies and support so that they can prepare and participate in after school programming, summer workshops, public debates, rap battles (using Hip Hop in their debate rounds myspace.com/seattlehiphopdebate), and weekend debate tournaments at high schools and universities within Washington State and around the country. The goal is to empower youth. They are our leaders of today and tomorrow and they need all of the support we can give them. Especially those whose voices are cast so deep into the margins that we have transformed them into our social burdons. It's crazy and it can't get better without us addressing the root of those inequities."The system ain't gone change unless we make it change"..."a single spark can light a prairie fire"...no doubt the little ones are on that tip...I'm trying my best to help them stay lit. You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !
