About Me

The purpose of my page here is to promote my Zine called Black Book Press, over the years I have run the zine out of my dorm room, my bedroom and the UPS store, and distro it in Chicago. Now that I am done with college, its all done in my bedrom and the UPS store. Format: 1/2 sized-photocopied on plain white paper w/ color paper cover. cost: $2 and a self addressed stamped envelope, We generally publish POETRY but we will also consider: songs, artwork, MAIL ART, photography and anything else that's cool. Willing to review other zines, cds, shows, or whatever you want, also willing to trade ads with other publications. ALWAYS WILLING TO TRADE COPIES. About me: I am 23. I love listening to music, playing muisc, going to shows, going to record stores, and anywhere else you can find music. I will carry on a conversation with just about anyone about anything, just because it allows me to learn cool new shit. But more specifically: Anyone interested in writing prose or poetry anywhere in the world. I really want to meet other people interested in spreading their ideas and work through the small press / underground world, or anyone who knows anything about how to do this sucessfully

Sorry it has been so long, but yes BBP IS STILL HERE  and going strong!  Submisions are rolling in and  I spend so much time reading through them that this has kind of fallen to the sid...
