I'm curious about the world. Gravity and evolution are always topics in my mind. Also I find it very interesting how "strange" human being is. That's why I study about the brain, the most developed feature of human beings. I'm doing research about how memory forms in the brain. What I do is changing genes in mice and analyzing synaptic plasticity in the brain. I give electronic stimuli in the brain and measure the connectivity of neurons. I started this project thinking about creating drugs that enhance memory. I thought changing gene expression might be the way useful for developing such drugs. But more and more accomplishing the project, I start asking myself about ethical questions, and now I don't think it's a good idea. Well anyway, I do my project to find the mechanisms. I want to know how the brain works. Ultimately, I'm hoping that the days will come in the future when we know what makes the consciousness, the mechanism of love and happiness as well as what causes mental disorder. ----haha, do I sound like a mad scientist? :)
Music is also my passion. To me music is like a drug. I’m addicted. That can bring me to another mental stage.
