I am a multi-faceted individual. I have schooling in both Psychology and Theatre Arts. I have made a living as a Professional Musician, Journeyman Electrician and after returning to school full time in 1992 for another degree am currently a Systems Engineer / Network Analyst. I have been in this field for about 14 years now.
I managed Hoover Materials Handling Group's Network in Beatrice, Nebraska for about 4.5 years. Then in February of 2001 migrated to the east coast and lived outside of Philadelphia for about 4 years working in the public sector as a Network Engineer. While in PA, I was able to see some very interesting concerts and shows and have developed a strong liking for jazz, both traditional and contemporary.
I am an only child. My mother passed away in January of 2002 after an extended illness and in August of 2004 my father passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. I decided to move back to Nebraska and live in my boyhood home in Beatrice. It has taken some time to get the house the way I want it, but am pretty comfortable now. I have been doing consulting and network administration from my home for the last 3 years.
In December of 2003 I decided to re-tool my drums and get back into playing music again. I have purchased my ultimate kit and am enjoying playing it very much. Once I got moved back here I thought it would be awhile before I would have the opportunity to work in a live band again, but a longtime friend called me in November 2004 and asked me to join his band. We are called Whizker Bizket and play a lot of Classic Rock as well as, 80's, 90's and some contemporary Rock music. It is very enjoyable. We released our first EP CD on June 3 of 2006. Ok.. now the particulars: I am 48 years old, 6'1" and roughly 182 lbs. I have brown hair and blue eyes. Of course you have already saw the photo of me on the homepage. I have been divorced for 10 years and have 2 daughters who live in Omaha. Ciera is 21 and Paige is 16.
