Hello I am Bill Abercrombie...born in Detroit...started playing bass at 15..graduated B.I.T (that's Musicians Institute of Tech) Hollywood, Ca., '82.
I've had a lucky life...especially in the 80's & 90's. I played in bands with many famous SHREDDERS....Kurt James, who started out in Steeler....Dr. Mastermind, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN (pre-production only)....Brian Lee Young was with David Lee Roth; now plays in Mob Rules with Vinnie Appice......Jeff Scott Soto was with Journey..now with his solo project and Tailsman....Roger Fisher from the band "Heart.
I also did a series of drum clinics for Carmine Appice, who play with Rod Stewart, Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Jeff Beck, Bogert & Appice and my favorite "Blue Murder". (GEE'S, Carmine is one of the Living Legends In ROCK DRUMS!)....also clinics with Boo Boo McAffee for Pearl Drums! Played with the Johansson Brothers who are now with "Hammerfall" & "Stratovarious"....and Andy Lee who now plays with CircleIICircle to name a few!
I'm now living peacefully, I might add, in E. TN...in the mountains and streams. Maybe you'll catch me on the cover of "Field & Stream"!

Yes I formed The Black Jesus Medicine Show...some Blues/Rock Killer Band with a lot of dates every month on the calendar the phone just keeps ringin for the band..OK I am re-tiring BJMS to The Bobby Knight Band..were playing every Wenseday "BIKE NIGHT" at Keemosabee's Road House...Can I get a HELL YEAH.....AND I am part of a GREAT NEW BAND "JAW BREAKER"...2 gigs coming up for MARCH MADNESS in Kingsport!!KING's X.......this is WHAT it's ALL ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!
