About Me

MySpace layouts for the fussiest people
I live for beer o'clock.I tend to do my gardening at night, in the nude.I came across an ogre once in the forest, quickly wiped him off and then said "sorry".Fresh pennyroyal, bergamot oil and nag-champa incense should always accompany a dinner party for associates, rain dances and Earth worshipping ceremonies. The most beautiful moment of my life was when my duckling Anouk fell asleep on my tummy while I sang "keep her in your pocket" (by the White Stripes) to her.My senses like hearing fingers cracked, the smell of a bushfire, seeing roots form on newly transplanted seedlings and feeling music so raw that the end of my nose vibrates.

My Interests

I've recently fallen in love with music from the big band swing era - it plays constantly in my house all day and all night long. Here are a few of my highly recommended favourites:- Take The 'A' Train by Duke Ellington - Stardust by Artie Shaw - T'ain't What You Do It's The Way That You Do It by Jimmie Lunceford - Sepian Bounce by Jay McShann - Opus One by Tommy Dorsey - I've Got A Gal In Kalamazoo by Glenn Miller - Artistry Jumps by Stan Kenton - Don't Be That Way by Benny Goodman - Apple Honey by Herman Woody - Skyliner by Charlie Barnett - One O'clock Jump by Count Basie - I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm by Les Brown - In The Mood by Glenn Miller - Arab Dance by Claude Thornhill - Disc Jockey Jump by Gene Krupa - Trumpet Blues And Cantabile by Harry James - Flying Home by Lionel Hampton - On The Sunny Side Of The Street by Tommy Dorsey - Liza by Chick WebbOr if you have trouble finding these, have a listen to the soundtrack from the Aviator - it's not bad.
