My name is Darren Stephens. I just moved to Denver about 2 years ago. My wife and I just wanted a change. We've found a ton of friends since we've been here and everyone is SO nice. We love it.
I live in Colorado, but my hometown is Roslyn, Oregon. And yes, despite what you might hear, people in Oregon DO pronounce it "or-eh-gon," not "or-ghin."
We lived in Buffalo for about a year, but we hated it. We moved on to Toronto for about four years, but never really felt settled in, so here we are in Denver. We love it already, and think we've finally found a place to chill, and possibly raise a family.
Smantha (my wife) tends to enjoy staying in but I get a big kick out of going out and seeing bands play and shit like that. If you're a local band, add me and I'll come see you. I can usually get her to come see a movie with me and sometimes to a friend's party or something. But she's usually at home. We do enjoy eating out tho.
I work at a music store. It's cool.
I enjoy playing guitar and have been for 28 years and try singing every once in a while but I'm not very good at it. I can't think of anything else!
