I am: Dedicated massage therapist, lover, friend, sister, daughter, slightly obsessed with the grateful dead and ambient chill out music, funny, laid back, sometimes a serious girl and sometimes a party gurl, a believer in energy work, a outdoorsy type and an indoorsy type, always wanting to learn and to teach too, a reader, yoga practicioner (and belive me i'm just practicing), a listener and a talker when the mood strikes, animal lover, scuba diver, lover of travel and of staying home both, love to be up high on a mountain ledge but am so afraid of falling even three feet...a contradiction in one vessel.Do you ever think that life is just a playing out of the "big bang" and every second of the Earth's existence is just the falling out of the molecules and atoms. Just think of how much it took to get you as a micro and macro cosm to bring you to this point in time. Fate or physics? I see both within that idea.

My Interests

Anything and everything. I can get interested in whatever comes down my path. Massage, energy work, music, concerts, travel, going out (when i have a minute), boating, camping, being outside, photography, learning new things, reading, writing, laughing...

I'd like to meet:

People that like to have fun and laugh, can stop being serious when the situation calls for it. Those who love music and art; people that appreciate life and can see the beauty in an often ugly world. Any openminded people; those that are not quick to judge others. Anyone that practices massage or is interested in it (not the sleazy kind of massage, real therapeutic massage). People from Rochester NY or the Denver Colorado area.

Grateful Dead, phish, portishead, tori amos, DMB, nina simone, howlin' wolf, little johnny taylor, sublime, charlie musselwhite, david grisman, lots o' bluegrass and hardcore oldschool blues, billie holiday, morcheeba, lots of ambient lounge chillout and triphop, oar, lots o' hippy jam bands, stevie nicks/fleetwood mac, zeppelin, stevie ray vaughn, dj SS, goldfinger, rolling stones, splashdown, martina topley-bird, AK1200, eric clapton, DJ shadow, Ani, tricky, L7, G love, bob marley, mighty bosstones, ghostface killah, beatnutz, outkast, david bowie, rhcp, nin, sleater kinney, tool, bela fleck and the flectones, the breakfast, queens of the stoneage gorillaz, ratdog, drumming, jamiroquai, my friend Ian's band (whichever one he is currently in)...so many more...

Movies:

Scary freaky movies, stupid comedies, strange make you think movies, anime, anything really except romantic comedy (makes me gag)

Television:

Not much here. We have no cable so we see all of last seasons shows on DVD. The Office. House MD. Nip/Tuck. Law and Order SVU. The Simpsons. CSI Las Vegas. Love the adult swim cartoons (esp AQTHF, and SeaLab)

Books:

I'll read anything. Stephen King is my ficiton god. Carlos Castenada is always an interesting read for something metaphysical. Kurt Vonnegut Jr (makes me laugh). Jack Kerouac. Kahlil Gibran. George Orwell. Anything about massage.

Heroes:

David Bowie for wearing those pants in Labrynth.
