Freefunkin was founded in April 2005 by Dr.Freefunkin, who soon established a fan base with his regular radioshows. One of the first podcasts featuring funk music it has been a trendsetter for many others out there. The goal was always to combine the old, "true" funk music of the late sixties with newer music made in the same spirit and to have an open mind and open ears for the many styles of music that evolved around funk music. Lately a lot of other talents have contributed to the freefunkin radioshows, which continue to please fans around the globe!
