/////////////////////////////////////////////////Soulinus, born near Schaffhausen in the north of Switzerland, began organizing funk, soul and breaks- events at the age of 17. Soon, the "Beats on Tap" Dj/Promoter/Booking-Collective around Soulinus, Left-Eye and Pun was born. DJs from all over the world have been invited and the Beats on Tap evenings got more and more one of the most successfull funk-happenings in switzerland.
Alongside Djs like Quantic, Henry Storch, Rob Birch, Diesler, Eddie Piller, Flevans, AIFF, Natural Self, Nostalgia77, First Rate and much more, Soulinus & Pun played their freestyle DJ sets, always full of infectious funkbreaks.
Soulinus moved to Dusseldorf where he worked for Unique Records and also began to work as Booking Agent for SSC Concerts for Bands and DJs like Radio Citizen, Nickodemus, Diesler, Waajeed, Percee P & Guilty Simpson, Rubberfunk, Souls Of Mischief, Black Grass, Flow Dynamics, Steinski, Tm Juke, Nostalgia 77, Z-Trip or Natural Self (Artist Roster and contact: www.ssc-group.net).
Back in Switzerland now, "Beats on Tap" is responsible for the "Beats on Board"-Evenings @ Das Schiff, Basel and "Beats on Tap"-Evenings @ Klupp, Flims always combining Deep Funk, HipHop, B-Boy Breaks, House and Electronica with the focus on hard hittin..drums and uncompromising breaks.
Together with dj Pun, Soulinus worked on their first musical output called "THIS IS DJS CHOICE" which will be out on UNIQUE RECORDS (www.unique-rec.com) in April 2008!!
