Mr.Magnificent und Selecta MaaS, spielen und kaufen schon seit über 7 Jahre jamaicanische Musik: Rock Steady, Roots Reggae, Concious Reggae, Rub a Dub, Lovers, Dancehall, Ragga, und ausgewählte Soca, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop and Soul Tunes. Viele Jahre lang hosteten die zwei jeden Donnerstag eine Radio Show in Schaffhausen auf Radio RaSa 107.2mhz, „Jamaican Roots“ hiess das Ding. Später entschieden sie sich, ihre grosse Sammlung Vinyl auch an Partys und nach Konzerten zu drehen und gründeten Jamaican Roots Sound.
Ihre Phylosophie ist es, alte jamaicanische Musik, mit den angesagtesten Tunes der heutigen Zeit zu kombinieren. Mr.Magnificent arbeitet als Tontechnicker mit verschiedenen Artisten zusammen und mastert Dubplates. Ausserdem machen sie Remixes, welche auf dem Player zu hören sind.
