About Me

how i look at things...

some past and future faces

i used to live in the stone ages without internet or cable at my place...it was great...i..i'd cut myself off. without it, i'd write. without it, i'd paint. without it, i'd dive into my books and not come out for hours and hours. without the internet, i think; therefore with the internet, i am not. now i have the internet and have ceased to be aware of my own existence. this change came along with the addition to my life of a super roommate who has the most adorable bunny.i think it kinda makes up for the fact that the internet has taken the better part of my soul. i do believe in magic bunnies, i do i do!

My Interests

driving way to far to see my favorite musicians/bands/friends play.flying way too far to spend time with my friends.drinking tea and staying up all night talking on weekdays and wandering into the office bleary eyed but strangely more dedicated to life.Current favorite hot appetizer: soup as a metaphor for love and grand heroics from little mice.Current favorite desert: Blueberry Wine Pie...like all the love i have ever felt in my life in one confectionary wonder.and just in case you've ever played "google goes"...i go to the beach.

Music:

I love Brad Yoder. Don't worry. I love you too. Assuming you sing along in the car, I am right there with you.oh. and these guys...

Movies:

currently wishing to watch again: Me and You and Everyone We Know. The world really is all about pink shoes dancing with myself.current recommendation: "The Lives of Others"wanting to rock out to again: "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" Inch. Inch. Not Itch.

Television:

mmm. no cable. it's like clean living.

Books:

knufflebunny, the unbearable lightness of being, the tale of desperaux, the giving tree, where the wild things are, and i just fell in love with ender's game.my recommendation is knufflebunny, if you like picture books that is.

Heroes:

jim henson. oh jim. i wish you were here.

My Blog
