About Me

Welcome to the home of The New York Jedi, the Lightsaber Enthusiasts Collective.
The New York Jedi are a group of costumers, performers, actors & non-actors, and martial artists who have a particular passion for sword fighting, fight scene choreography, and feature some of New York's best light saber fighters!
We encourage developing your own character, whether it be a Jedi or Sith type. Or, you can re-incarnate as one of the characters from your favorite Sci-Fi film (one of our fighters is a Predator Jedi). Although we are not specifically a Star Wars fan site, we do rely heavily on many of the principles and training used by that of the Jedi Order. Mental focus, martial arts training, universal knowledge.
Our team carries with it the combined knowledge of Stage & Film Fight and Dance Choreographers, Military Trained Veterans, Professional Costume Designers, Video and Audio Engineers, Photographers, Certified Martial Artists and Yoga Teachers, and more!
