The Diamond Dolls

We are THE DIAMOND DOLLS - Miss Midnite Delite, Miss Sugarpuss and Madame Trolley Dolly... What we do is not traditional burlesque per say...and its far from some burlesque where bland, expressionless faces perform predictable step-step routines and take some layers of clothing off and claim its sexy! oh no!- when we dance we give our whole selves to the audience and really engage with each other and put on a real show for people! we like to bring an audience to their knees, begging "Please PLEASE!!" Its a postmodern mish mash of old school burlesque, lots of costumes, surprise elements, some really great tassel twirling, three brunette girls, super red lipstick with a really big stage presence- it is essentially very comical. We do lots of different routines- solos, duets and ones with all of us. We are Parisian Femmes donned in pink and red feathers one moment then Asian princesses the next who dance to the theme song of... well i shant like tell you as i would hate to spoil the surprise...and pull fortune cookies from precarious places... but its never sleazy or tasteless, not even in the slightest.- in fact it is very tasteful (the fortune cookies)!We have danced at numerous bars and venues about Melbourne, including The Toff in Town, The Order of Melbourne, The Spanish Club, the Prince of Wales, The Espy and many more. We have supported lots of bands about the traps, do our own shows at Eurotrash Bar, and we have even danced at a wedding!... WE SHALL SHAKE WHAT OUR MAMA'S GAVE US TILL WE CANT SHAKE NO MORE! the pink diamond dolls getting jshoozed backstage...
