The Smiths...as quintessentially british as fish and chips and the carry on films, Morrisey's witty yet moving lyrics mixed with Johnny Marr's unique and inventive guitar work was just amazing.The Mars Volta, modern prog meets jazz meets punk meets funk meets anything and everything inbetween, former members of El Paso, Texas diy punks At The Drive In, legends in their own right, music doesn't come much more adventurous than these guys.
