Going out lots with my gorgeous husband Manny
Listening to music (The gods made heavy metal and they saw that it was good), going to gigs and festivals, travelling, drinking, reading lots (mainly trashy novels), glittery make up, handbags, Hello Kitty, the colour pink for no known reason, minature Winnie the Poohs, my pink ipod, green and blacks mint chocolate!
I love playing with my two cats Angel and Demon - they're so squishy and soft. I adore all animals (especially Wolves, Pandas, cats and dogs) except slimey things..eugh. I could happily live somewhere remote surrounded by animals without seeing humans for weeks on end
I'd like to meet:
Anyone into heavy metal, going out, drinking and having fun...oh and Joey DeMaio! and anyone that can get me a visa to live in the States PLEASE!
Oh and a panda - I'd love to hug a little baby panda! Or Knut the cute polar bear from Berlin zoo - he's just ADORABLE
And perhaps and penguin and an otter and some kind of big cat like a tiger.
PLEASE NOTE - FRIEND RESQUESTS - I have just had a cull of "friends" on here - If you are in a band before sending a request please FIRST check the list of bands on the left and also send me a message explaining why I should bother to check out your site. Please dont bother sending friend requests if you in any way sound like Sikth or similar,or could be described as pop punk or something equally as awful - anything with an abundance of keyboards can feel free to f**k off and not bother, as can any one person "rock" band who describe themselves as a myspace phenomenon just cuz they have a zillion friends - you will not be added. No message no add
Music:
MORTICIAN, (Kings of Metal)MANOWAR, LIVIDITY, GODDESS OF DESIRE (all hail the Conquerors Divine!), Nunslaughter (Jesus is fucking doomed, his death is coming soon!), Bludgeon, the mighty IMPIETY, Krisiun, Necrophagia, Solitaire, Funeral Rape, Ironsword, Motorhead, Destroyer 666, Revenge, Nifelheim, Judas Priest, Saxon, Desaster, Elixir, Brocas Helm, Behemoth, Arkhon Infaustus, Battleroar, Slough Feg, Stormwarrior, Wolf, Sacred Steel, Ram, Repent, Gravedigger, Exciter, Hell-born, Impiety, Impaled Nazarene, Venom, Motorhead, WASP, Twisted Sister, Metalucifer, Sabbat (Japan), Venom, Thor, Carpathian Forest, Gorgasm, Waco Jesus, Cloven Hoof Gorerotted, Gospel of the Horns,Ignitor, Bestial Raids, Proclamation, Rompeprop, Human Artifacts, Viral Load, and LOADS more!!!
Although I love BRUTAL/TRUE metal I also like other music including Suede, The Mission, The Cult, White Zombie, Rob Zombie (Educated Horses is one of the best glam/stomp/rock albums I've heard!), Backyard Babies, Adam and the Ants, Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, Curve, Apoptygma Berzerk, Guns N Roses, KMFDM, Lordi, Madonna, Nick Cave, Nine Inch Nails, The Ramones, Sisters of Mercy, Zodiac Mindwarp and many many more! This however doesn't mean I want to be bombarded with friend requests from Coldplay fans as I'd rather pluck out my pubes than listen to them! These bands are the exception to the rule where music is concerned - my main love is HEAVY METAL
Movies:
I like horror movies such as The Wicker Man (THE ORIGINAL), Omen, Friday 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Dawn of the Dead,The Hills have Eyes,(The original) - lots of old horror especially the "video nasties" of the 80s (Dawn of the Dead, Cannibal Holocaust, I spit on your Grave, Class of 84 etc). I love the two Rob Zombie movies House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects -they are two of the best horror movies I've seen in a long time and I can't wait for his reworking of Halloween (one of THE best horror movies EVER!). Some other new horrors are good though - Cabin Fever, Wrong Turn and Land of the Dead for example. I REALLY enjoyed Hostel even though the eye-ball scene nearly made me throw up - GORE TITS as my delightful husband would say Romper Stomper so as you can see my taste does vary a lot - from Audrey Hepburn in an alley crying over losing her cat to Russell Crowe kicking ass as a nazi to some excellent Oi!
I also love films with animals in - Two Brothers although really a kids movie was one of the nicest films I've seen - it was so beautiful. Also ADORE the movie Born Free although it does make me cry, same with Ring of Bright Water and Tarka the Otter.
I still love some of the cheesey 80s movies I grew up with like Dirty Dancing, The Breakfast Club, Pretty Woman, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Buellers Day Off but dont hold that against me please.
The most recent movie I saw in the cinema was Pirates of the Carribean - Legend of the Black Pearl which I really liked - and that isn't just cuz I think Johnny Depp is gorgeous in it :)
Not so keen on sci-fi or war films I have to admit but I will ocassionally watch it as Manny likes that kind of thing - he also made me watch all of those Lord of the Rings movies - I feel asleep in every one
Television:
My all time favourite TV programme was (and still is) Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Theres nothing that matches it now really so its just as well I have all my box sets :)
Oh and I did like Angel too - but it had a really stupid ending in my opinion which kinda detracted from the series - they should've combined the two for a kick ass ending
Sarah Michelle Geller should stop with the bad movies and just come back and make more Buffy!
My favourite recent shows are Ugly Betty and Lost, the latter being my main reason for forking out for Sky Tv every month
I do watch some good stuff on TV - Shameless, No Angels, Catherine Tate, Pheonix Nights etc. I adore Planet Earth although Manny usually has to be nearby to console me as I get upset if anything sad happens. I KNOW its nature and stuff but I just hate watching animals die and am a bit girlie about it. This is also the reason I tend not to watch too much Animal Planet channel by myself!
Books:
My favourite author is probably Christopher Fowler - I love his book Spanky and once I'd read it I kept reading more of his stuff until Soho Black, then it went a bit "film noir" for me.
One of my favourite books is American Psycho - I've re-read it several times but everything else Brett Easton Ellis has written (that I've read) just hasn't really done it for me. I think I liked the gore in American Psycho -it was quite gruesome but at the same time was hysterical!!
I also really like Irvine Welsh - Trainspotting is probably the most re-read book I have. Some of his others weren't so great but hey he did a fab comeback with Porno! His most recent book, Bedroom Secrets of The Masterchef was quite rubbish - it was a bit of an effort to read.
