PICKY*PICS MUSIC*PROFILE

location: United Kingdom
gender:female
cat:yes

Never been too fond of an about me section. It is easy to make lists of bands I like, books etc... I am also quite happy to write in the third person. To avoid psychiatric involvement, I will keep my own profile in the first person. Here goes... I am a psychologist by day, hardcore misanthrope by night. I have a huge interest in the human mind how it works and how it affects one in social situations and everyday behaviour. I can explain how the brain works and body send and receive signals...I need a calculator to add 6+4. I love history and I love knowledge. There is plenty I can share with still well enough I can learn from you. I believe experience is one's best teacher. The actual experience of the act trumps all the 'reading about it' they could ever do. I am a computer enthusiast and lover of design. A huge fan of digestives. I love to travel and experience other cultures. I get bored easily. My mentor would always tell me "only boring people get bored" so I now use the word over-anxious.I have a huge distaste for people who chew gum, expired food,A fear of liver spots. Hate crowds, lifts, and U2. ( How they are in the same category is something only Bono can explain.)I change my mind constantly. I am a free-form thinker, that is when I am thinking. My friends are very special to me. Just because I am not in constant contact does not mean they are not in my heart.I have a dry dark sense of humour. Something probably inherited from me dad. That and my nose. I like my nose. I love cats. Love, love cats. They are a unique and cherished species in my mind. I must always have a cat. There are times I fancy having a dog...not a kick dog--one I could just throw in my hand bag, but a nice stand-up dog like a shepherd or retriever. I will not drone on. Any additional information may be obtained through an email or friendly hello message.Cheers and high regardsxx

..music....why must everything be put into a category, a "genre" then after that a "sub-genhre" then throughout the years is almost stripped of credibility due to some less than average band with all the new rage comes along bearing the exact same sound, the exact same look-only better timing for this lot...very frustrating. Either way here is my list in no particular order may I add of music that has inspired me throughout the years/better or for worse. Some of the more notable ones will have links to their main site if you wish to read more...or perhaps you are so pumped up on knowledge you can teach me a thing or two or even them a thing or two? Either way:
Ian Dury
The Ramones
Sex Pistols
The adverts
The Ruts
The Clash

The Dickies
Robyn Hitchcock
Elvis Costello
