You are at CedarHouse outside of Nashville, Tennessee; The four time Grammy nominated state-of-the-art production facility. Conceived with the purpose of developing a peaceful and creative environment which is more understanding to the needs of the artist.
What are we?
We are a Project and Artist Development company specializing in the current Country, Folk, Blues, and alternative Rock. We have brought back and improved the art of developing recording artists in preparation for their first or next album project.
Years ago major record companies had divisions devoted to developing artists. Some were developed before the recording contract and others were developed after the contract. Labels once had considerable budgets for such development. It was considered an essential part of an artist's career. Artists were allowed time to develop, either by working with staff or independent producers, or by recording and releasing albums (The first 3 albums were often considered developmental).
Because the process of artist development is almost nonexistent with labels today, the developmental responsibility has been assumed solely by the artist, until now...
