Madame Chairwoman of CT's premiere all girl flat track roller derby league... CT RollerGirls
From an early age, Ruby Wreckingball was drawn to two things; sparkling baubles and outright chaos. These attractions soon manifested as she was caught stealing a Be-Dazzler from the local department store when she was just 6 years old, crashing through numerous displays in her attempted escape (the reason she was apprehended). That first run-in with the law brought about a strengthening in her anti-authoritarian outlook and a renewed passion for all the glitters.
Developing into a comely young lady, Ruby made the career choice to become a jewel thief. She quickly became known along the East Coast for leaving numeous jewelry stores with nothing but empty cases and mass destruction strewn about.
Recently tipped to a traveling show of crown jewels from Europe making it's way through the Connecticut area, Ruby planned her "master heist". She scoured the local dive bars, juke joints, docks and pool halls looking for a crew of like-minded women to help her pull off the "big one".
After gathering a larger-than-expected crew of similarly marginal women, Ruby decided to go underground- her cover, acting as chairwoman of Connecticut’s premiere flat-track roller derby league, the CT RollerGirls. Her hench-women were now the league. Instead of thievery and gemstones, her efforts focused on skating and throwing elbows. Her mission is to skate with the baddest bitches in the state. But ladies, hang on to your jewelry because if diamonds are a gal’s best friend, then Ruby is your worst enemy.
