My story begins from an early age............... a line of singers starting with my grandmother with an operatic voice, then listening to my mother singing jazz...... at the age of 11, I sang with a Church choir....
Onto Lovers Rock briefly at 17/18 with two bands following onto lead and backing vocals in roots reggae Band R.A.S. Left for a while and concentrated on studying and earning a living to pay the bills, whilst raising a daughter on my own.Mid 90's started singing and writing professionally again. Because of my love of UK and US Garage/House the best only on vinyl..... Met DJ Keir at Record Village who introduced me to DJ Jolly Roger from London Underground. Under the name 5th Element In 1998 we recorded " Express Yourself " - P.I.M.P Records-Gotcha Label....'Take u to a Place you've never been before.."..It's still played by the pirates now and then.... ten years later...Various projects followed.....with DF Mack (Gass Club) signed with Solid City 2000. A little Session/live work with Pure Silk then collaborations with Jo Tech (Freek FM) and DJ Keir (House FM) and a re-mix of Express Yourself.
Co-writer with Singer/Songwriter David Riley under name of Moza- releasing "Stay"-Label Sow & Reap produced by Winston (Pepper) Polin.......Five years with Trip Hop group Cryogenic .....during this time co-writing with John Forward (producer/guitarist) while providing backing vocals for Rock band Spitfire...phew!Continually growing ......and always learning something new, the Studio is my second home..... where i'm never bored. Not the cherry on top of the icing, but the heart beat and conception, plucking lyrics from the air and building on a "vibe ". With a worldwide musical taste, there's no top ten of artists who influence me ... Music is Universal.. transcends barriers .....my feeling for it knows no bounds.September 2006 - ventured into Production for the first time, formed a basic home studio and became half of Time Pilot, with Producer Lee Farrell. May 2007 we independently released Album London II Tokyo- I-Tunes.2008? spending all my time outside of the 9 to 5, producing new material and learning Logic...Working on the next Time Pilot album & new collaborations with Molda, TE1 and DJ Professa-(Phatbeats).
